June is spring on the north coast of British Columbia: Waterfalls and Wildflowers in landscapes of immeasurable beauty, along the calm waterways off the Inside Passage.

In June, these inlets are mother nature's cathedral!

The following photos, captured by landscape photographer Patrick Di Fruscia on a trip to these same inlets, are evidence of the spectacular beauty and powerful landscapes that await you.

We encourage photographers to join us in 2012 on Islands at the Edge / The Inside Passage.

We will travel through some of the most powerful landscapes on earth where the lines between the sea and the rainforest are blurred. Estuaries carpeted in wildflowers... polished granite walls laced with waterfalls that seem to fall from the sky... white sandy beaches edged in ethereal rainforest... and wind swept trees silhouetted against layers of changing colours at sunset.

For those photographers interested in wildlife photography as well, this trip will not disappoint.

We will be traveling along the proposed oil super tanker route from Kitimat (the terminal for the proposed Enbridge pipeline from Alberta's tar sands), to Asian markets.
